Hastings based driver Neil Newstead who is 41 began racing in 2011 after a couple of track days in 2010. Since then the CEO of Oakfield Estate Agents has quickly showcased his natural flair behind the wheel, moving up from MSVR track day, MSVR team trophy, Kumho BMW Championship to the Mini Challenge since 2014 in car #77.
Neil has enjoyed some great success over the last 2 years in the Mini Challenge Championship, not least with him being awarded the Mini Challenge JCW Championship title and best of British driver, fastest driver, Directors Cup and won the retailer cup in 2015.
2016 see’s Neil launch an assault and a step up into the new Mini F56 John Coopers Works.
